The problem
Essentials like milk and bread are bought almost daily, but most grocery apps are designed for one big basket. Getting a morning delivery every day shouldn't mean placing a new order every day.
What I changed
I designed the ordering flow around the delivery, not just the cart. Users pick a date, choose a slot and set it to repeat, then manage everything from one place.

Time slots you can read at a glance
Slots are short labels: 6–7 AM, 12–1 PM, 5–6 PM, 10–11 PM. Once selected, the choice is confirmed in plain words: "Delivery Time: 5–6 PM."

What I learned
For daily-use products, predictability matters more than speed. Users want to know exactly when things will arrive, every time.
Outcomes
Less repeat effort
Recurring orders replace daily reordering for regular essentials.
Clear delivery expectations
Fixed, readable slots make it obvious when an order will arrive.
Transparent pricing
Clear totals at checkout reduce hesitation for first-time online shoppers.
